Privacy Policy

Opsloft — last updated August 21, 2026

This policy covers Opsloft software, including the tariff-resolver MCP server (npm package tariff-resolver and its Claude Desktop extension).

Data collection

None. tariff-resolver runs entirely on your machine. It does not collect, transmit, or store any queries, telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or usage data. It makes no network requests at runtime.

Usage and storage

All lookups run against a tariff dataset bundled with the software (official USITC Harmonized Tariff Schedule, US Government public domain). If you use the watchlist feature, your watched HTS codes are saved in a local JSON file on your own machine and never leave it.

Third-party sharing

None. There is nothing to share. The optional dataset refresh script (scripts/fetch_hts.py, run manually by you) contacts only the official USITC API (hts.usitc.gov) and sends no personal data.

Data retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your local watchlist file can be deleted by you at any time.
